This will only fit the original RPI 3 B (not the RPi 3 B+ released 3/14/2018) board. The new case is under development right now and will be available shortly.

Your Raspberry Pi deserves a case that's as practical as it is stylish. Milled out of 6061-T6 Aircraft Grade Aluminum, this case will outlast your Raspberry Pi! This case is designed and manufactured by Barch Designs, located in the United States.

NOTE: This case will slightly reduce the range of the onboard WiFi/BT module. If wireless performance is important to you, we recommend using a USB WiFi/BT adapter with a dedicated antenna.

Especially tailored for users that have overclocked their Raspberry Pi or those that want their Raspberry Pi to run sufficiently cool for years to come, this case makes physical contact with the Pi's CPU/GPU, LAN chip, and RAM (bottom). We've even included thermal paste compound with your order.

This all metal Pi case also features access to the entire GPIO header, allowing you to run wires for all of your sensors & peripherals out the side (it's wide enough for an entire ribbon cable!). With LED fiber optic light pipes, you can easily tell what your Pi is up to. Both the power and activity lights are exposed on this case.

With three mounting holes on the bottom, it's a snap to robustly attach your Pi to your wall, car, or giant robot pet spider. #8 wood screws recommended.

Custom styles are offered for this case in higher quantities. Contact me for logo engraving details. The stock case has the LED light pipes cut through the case with the labels ACT and PWR.

Included in your order:

  • Milled Aluminum Case (Top & Bottom Halves)
  • Neoprene Riser (ensures a snug fit without squishing your Pi!)
  • Insulating Plastic Sheet (isolates your Pi from the aluminum)
  • 4 Screws
  • Allen Wrench
  • Thermal Paste Compound or Thermal Pads
  • 4 Rubber Feet

All cases purchased include a 5 year warranty. If your case breaks, we'll replace it. No questions asked.

When tested in a room averaging 17C, we found the following results with the Pi Holder (test originally performed w/ Pi 2):

Without Case With Case
No Load 34.7C 27.2C
100% CPU Load 53.0C 34.2C

Note: Product designed and fulfilled by Barch Designs. Raspberry Pi computer not included.
